Where is the password for the audio?
It is printed inside the book, on the page that gives you the download link — near the QR code. Each book has its own password, so the one from Volume 1 will not open the Volume 2 audio.
I bought the ebook. Is the password there too?
Yes, on the same page, in the same place. If you cannot find it, write to us with your order number and we will sort it out.
Why does the Anki deck have no password?
Because it is also published on AnkiWeb, where anyone can download it. Protecting it here would achieve nothing except annoying you. The audio and the bonus exercises are the material that is exclusive to the book.
How do I import the deck into Anki?
Download the .apkg file, then open Anki and choose
File → Import, or simply double-click the file. The deck arrives with its
own name and does not disturb any deck you already have. Anki itself is free on
desktop and Android; the iOS app is paid, and is made by the same people.
Which level should I start from?
A2–B1 if you can follow a simple conversation and read a short news item with a dictionary at hand. B1–B2 if you already read articles without much help and want narrative prose next. If you are between the two, start lower: the point of the method is a small step up, and a volume that is slightly too easy still teaches, while one that is too hard gets abandoned.
The audio download stopped halfway. What now?
Just start it again — the download supports resuming, so it will pick up where it stopped rather than starting from zero. If your browser makes that difficult, a download manager will handle it. The files are large: the audio for a full volume runs to three hours or more.
Can I use these books in a classroom?
Yes, and many teachers do. The exercises and the answer key are designed to work without a teacher, which also makes them easy to set as homework. If you need a quote for a set of copies, get in touch.
